Bupa.com.au

2016 to 2018 (present)

In 2016, Bupa set out to migrate and consolidate their digital properties to the Sitecore platform. At the same time, we took the opportunity to improve the revenue funnel and pathways, user experience, visual design, information architecture, create a mobile experience and took the first steps to bring together Bupa’s fragmented and inconsistent eco-system.

Designing the right thing

Off the back of heuristic and landscape reviews, we ran workshops with stakeholders to define the problems, brainstorm and wireframe key components and user flows of the site.

I created low fidelity prototypes and organised, recruited and facilitated user testing sessions to validate our direction. Findings were documented and subsequently flown through design iterations.

Designing the thing right

As features were tested and iterated, I produced pixel perfect UI design and high fidelity Axure prototypes to feed into the sprint backlog. I’d also QA review throughout the build process and monitor testing before deployment.

Two years later, our team has successfully redesigned, built and migrated the health insurance content and product pathways of bupa.com.au to Sitecore and are in the process of migrating the rest of the site and external properties to the new platform.
